Soft Spots 03:59
We spoke of distrust On the shoulders of our mistakes We’ve asked for too much Ever vigilant with no restraint They don’t have a lot It’s all that they’ve got Patting each other on the backs And you know they’re just checking for soft spots Blankets of bruises Soft sheets of grey At a moment's notice we’re onto them But we’ve still shown up late Ever vigilant with no first names They don’t have a lot It’s all that they’ve got Patting each other on the backs And you know they’re just checking for soft spots I never realized what it takes I never realized what I’m made of In the depths of despair You can find me there And I don’t know where I’m going, but I’m gone

It’s time to spell it out Turn up the volume I want to make it loud Give it a direction I want to make it count Guilt may be my weapon While revenge becomes my prize Clutching pieces of persona And sifting through the lies It’s time Give it up I’m trying to stay calm I need to know baby What’s been going on It’s time to spell it out Turn up the volume I want to make it loud Give it a direction I want to make you proud Guilt may be my weapon While revenge becomes my prize Clutching pieces of persona And sifting through the lies Give it up I’m trying to stay calm I need to know baby What’s been going on

Amongst the hoards of people There lay a simple thread Clinging to all that’s real Convincing the opposite. It takes a passing move It takes the punishment Give me the running room Give me a chariot Above the hopes of retrieval There lay a simple thread Having to beg, borrow, and steal Share a bed with the desperate It takes a passing move It takes the punishment Give me the running room Give me a chariot

Been stepping on nails For too long And I can’t stand up straight You can see what we’re after And it poses no threat It just laughs like a child When it tickles the back of your neck The ulcers get worse With every breath And the panic sets in With every step Years ago the feeling was much more stable Now the shadow is… So uncomfortable From something cyclical I’ve been tripped before So uncomfortable Been moving like snails For too long And my shell is starting to ache You can scream from the rafters It makes no difference here Just admit we’re all bastards Do me a favor Lend me your ears So uncomfortable From something cyclical I’ve been tripped before So uncomfortable Purchase the worthless At a cost that’s unheard of And plead with the swords of A thousand young warriors It’s not just a walk in A gorgeous garden With foot steps that lead to The door of your apartment So uncomfortable From something cyclical I’ve been tripped before So uncomfortable

about

Recorded over a period of three months in a small apartment now referred to as Bangford, "...and the crowd goes mild" is the love-child of four of the manliest men known to manly men. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did creating it.

We'd also like to take this time to thank all of our friends, family, and fans who showed us the support that made completing this EP a reality. You guys are fucking awesome.
